Doreen Suites is an exclusive service apartment which is under construction in Gulshan, Dhaka, Bangladesh. This is
a project of Siddique Group of Industries (SGI). We are looking for a competent and experienced hotelier to
oversee the finishing part of the construction, procurement, furnishing & fittings up to the soft opening of the
project. Thereafter, the incumbent will carry out marketing, administration and operation of the service
apartment.
Prospective candidate will be responsible for
leading a team based at Dhaka and achieve
operational excellence & growth. Should have a
good exposure with hotel Industry. Should be
involved with entire operations with key focus on profitability by ensuring amelioration of business & optimal
utilization of resources. Will be Responsible for business development, sales & marketing, day‐to‐day management of a hotel and its staff, strategic planning,
project management / execution & account management with profit & Loss accountability.
Job description
1. Ensure competitive finishing of serviced apartments
2. Ensure planning and budget for Hotel Management
3. Ensure implementation of plan
4. Ensure time to time review of plan and take necessary change in plan and implementation accordingly
5. Incumbent will have to personally take charge of the projects for supervision & monitor of
civil/interior/electro‐mechanical aspects
6. Responsible for hiring, managing, training & retention of all staff
7. Will be responsible for directly supervising and managing front desk, housekeeping, laundry, F & B,
Catering and maintenance departments
8. Develops and executes marketing plans and programs, both short and long terms, to ensure the profit
growth and expansion of company service
9. Setting and achieving sales and profit targets
10. Planning and organising accommodation, catering and other hotel services
11. Managing budgets and financial plans as well as controlling expenditure and maintaining statistical and
financial records
12. Dealing with customer complaints, comments and addressing problems and ensuring security is effective
13. Insuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
14. Supervising supplies, renovations and furnishings
Experience
10‐15 years in hotel management
