Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: Individual with upper management experience in the design, development and implementation of strategic marketing plans for national and Southeast Asia region specifically Thai customer base (Issan) including, but not limited to, player events, telemarketing, sales programs, bus and air charter operations, promotions and other such activities designed to directly develop and attract customers to the property.
MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS: 21 years of age
Duties/Responsibilities
Experience with the planning, budgeting, analysis and evaluation of new Thai customer base in the Issan region including the annual Casino Marketing Plan and the Financial Plan
Chiefly responsible for the creation and execution of the Casino Marketing strategy which builds long-term relationships with customers and strengthens brand value
Must possess strong skills in both marketing and casino marketing administration and operations to be able to successfully manage all casino marketing areas while attaining a progressively increasing scope of responsibility
Oversee the creation, development, and hosting of all on and off property events to maintain customer loyalty, develop new players, and re-establish patronage of in-active players
Oversees the development and implementation of new programs to ensure high quality patronage and player migration through personalized services and attention
Oversees the development and maintenance of VIP marketing strategy that increases market share and profitability
Analysis and definition of the market for growth and development in Southeast Asia beginning in Thailand and throughout the ASEAN countries.
Plan, analyze, evaluate and report on all casino marketing programs and staff
Oversee patron complimentary procedures in accordance with company policy and profitability standards
Create departmental performance goals, analyze, evaluate, monitor and report on results for all assigned programs and staff
Directly responsible for revenue and profit targets, including the detailed analysis and reporting of gaming revenue and associated cost
Direct department personnel development, training and evaluation establishing a motivated and professional staff.
Serve as leader for employee morale, motivation and open communication
Develop programs and train Casino Marketing staff on assisting customers with procedures for establishing check-cashing privilege credit and reservations as appropriate
Provide performance evaluations and objectives for staff
Responsible for ensuring the customer development on the casino floor as well as outside solicitation of customers via personal contact and group affiliation
Maintain and evaluate high-end player files for telemarketing and direct mail purposes
Management and adherence to all regulatory and internal control procedures, as they pertain to Casino Marketing departments
Must assure that all employees under their supervision display exceptional customer service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times
Management experience with budgeting, forecasting, staffing, advertising, public relations, social media, direct marketing, reservation systems, bus and air charter operations, entertainment, player development, guest services, promotions, tournaments, special events, merchandising and branch office operations.
Physical Requirements
Be mobile to move reasonably quick throughout the casino, up and down stairs frequently
Walk and stand for long periods of time
Operate a computer with manual dexterity and with reasonable accommodations.
See to operate a computer screen to verify customer bonus point/comp accounts, read written instructions, memoranda, job description, etc.
Tolerate noisy, smoky, and stressful environments
Lift a minimum of 20 pounds.
Mental Requirements
Must be able to read, write and speak English (preferably understand and communicate in Lao and/or Thai).
Have basic statistical math skills.
Understand and comply with all policies and procedures, job description, daily memorandums, and other instructions.
Must be able to understand and communicate, verbally and written with management, staff and guests.
Must be able to work under stressful conditions.
Prerequisites/Preferred Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales or equivalent work experience in a related field, MBA preferred. Casino experience preferred. Must have excellent leadership, organizational and inter-personal and communication skills. Have proficient knowledge of MS Office programs. Must be comfortable and adept with public speaking. Must be detail oriented and thorough and have prompt, flexible working hours.
